MARKETING STRATEGY

One of the important parts of running a business is the marketing strategy. This is needed in order for the business to run as planned. Basically, our business’ strategy consists of four keys variables. The four variables are:

1   Services
We offer the services which is a complete procedure for ship repair from cleaning, degreasing, sand water blasting and painting service the ships so that the client don’t have to look for many sub-contractor because we are available to do all the work for coating and finishing paint. The quality of our services is standardizing according to standard marine blasting and painting requirement.
2.   Price
The price that we offer is the lowest rates among all proprietor and we offer it based on current market price. We would not change the market price because it is affordable to all consumers unless otherwise there are any reasons that need us to change the price. For the price increased we will do survey toward all of the consumer that already use our services and new comer consumer. By using cost-based pricing, the mark up is the profit margin that is desired from the sale of the services.

3.   Place (distribution)
To ensure that our distribution strategy works well and services offered reach the target market, we planned on a controllable distribution system. We chose Port Klang as our headquarters is because the location is strategic for our business. There are a lot of activities related to marine industry which will gives us a lot of opportunity to grow our business in Port Klang.
